Kickoff for "Days of Inspiration"

80072614_10156707136557592_2621672059230486528_n.jpgSince we can't meet in person for our Annual Meeting at the New Haven Lawn Club this year, we will instead be hosting "Days of Inspiration" – short videos highlighting our work to end homelessness.

Beginning December 1, you’ll hear from Columbus House CEO Margaret Middleton about the challenges and triumphs of running a multi-site homeless services agency during a global pandemic and learn what the future holds for those experiencing homelessness. We’ll honor those who roll up their sleeves and get involved by granting the John S. Martinez Community Service Award (recipients will be announced soon). You’ll hear inspirational stories from the honorees about their experiences helping those who come through our doors. And, we are very excited to announce that we will be joined by a very special guest, Lauren McGowan, Senior Director of Ending Homelessness & Poverty for United Way of King County, WA. Lauren will share her very personal story of the impact that homelessness had on her life.

Please mark your calendar. You don’t want to miss this moving virtual event!
